About

I am Rousseau, and I used to work as a cashier in Walmart.

While working at Walmart, my daughter was born. Being a single mother made it difficult for me to juggle everything that came with being both mommy and daddy. So I left the job in order to focus on raising my little girl.

I used to work at Walmart as a cashier because the only other opportunities were fast food or waiting tables. But then I got tired of suffering and decided to fight back.

So now I’m not just working for change – but living by it too!

I’m currently finishing my degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Black liberation studies.

And when that’s done?

Well, probably get another job like most people do after college graduation…but eventually find some way to make money doing what I love: talking about race relations and educating folks on how they can be better allies!

I started this website to help people shopping in stores like Walmart, because I know what it’s like to be ignored and turned away by store employees for no reason other than the color of my skin.

This site was created for me by me, but it can also be used by you or anyone else who feels excluded from mainstream conversations on the internet!

Find The Aisle helps shoppers find exactly what they’re looking for by locating items in the major grocery stores around the US. Your shopping experience will be much less frustrating and more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a specific product but don’t know where to find it, let me know!
